About Me
I grew up in Savannah, Georgia and spent the last decade living in New York and Los Angeles. I recently returned to my home state to attend Emory University School of Medicine’s APA accredited internship. I approach clinical work with a collaborative, curious, and compassionate lens. I deeply value creating a warm and supportive environment built on authenticity and mutual trust. My goal is to combine each individual’s internal wisdom and life experience with my clinical knowledge to help clients make changes that are enriching and fulfilling. I draw from various evidence-based treatment modalities under the cognitive-behavioral framework to best meet the individual needs of each client.
I have experience treating a wide array of clinical issues with clients from diverse backgrounds. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient contexts within academic medical centers, community mental health centers, and university settings. I have specialized training in trauma treatment, work-related stress and burnout.
In addition to my clinical work at Evolve Counseling and Wellness Center, I am completing my postdoctoral residency in health service psychology through Emory University School of Medicine within Grady Health System. My current research is focused on the evaluation and design of wellness programming to address the effects of burnout, compassion fatigue, and moral injury in healthcare workers serving socially vulnerable populations.
