About Me

I am excited to be a part of the team at Evolve Counseling and Wellness Center, and a new resident to the Atlanta, Georgia area. I was born and raised in New Jersey with a passion for counseling and neuropsychological testing. I have trained in a variety of mental health settings treating individuals across the lifespan. My training has included working in academic medical centers, rehabilitation hospitals, assisted living facilities, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. I like to create a safe environment that fosters an open dialogue about treatment techniques and coping skills, which will assist client’s in achieving their treatment goals. I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from various theoretical frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic concepts, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I have a passion for neuropsychological testing, with a specialty in geriatrics and neurodegenerative diseases. My specialty in geriatrics helps to clarify if the person’s experienced changes of cognition over time are because of “normal aging” or whether they may be signs of a neurodegenerative process. In addition, I see clients who have suffered traumatic brain injury (TBI) or stroke, to assess their level of cognitive functioning and provide them with recommendations to help achieve their full potential. I enjoy creating a comfortable and calm space to conduct assessments. I believe that assessing a client’s level of cognitive functioning can assist in providing insight into the mind-body connection and shed light on individual cognitive strengths and areas of improvement.
